Cline speaks the OpenAI Chat Completions dialect, so it runs on Sideren through its OpenAI Compatible provider slot.

One command

The setup helper writes Sideren into Cline’s provider settings (~/.cline/data/settings/providers.json, shared by the cline CLI and the VS Code extension) as the OpenAI Compatible provider. See setup helper.

Configure

To set it up by hand, choose these in Cline’s model settings:
  • API Provider: OpenAI Compatible.
  • Base URL: https://api.sideren.io/v1.
  • API key: your sdn_ key.
  • Model id: any catalog model, e.g. @sdn/glm-5 for heavy coding or @sdn/gpt-oss-120b for speed.

Verify

Send Cline a trivial task (“read this file and summarize it”) and watch the first reply arrive. To confirm the key works against the gateway without Cline in the loop:
