Kilo Code speaks the OpenAI Chat Completions dialect, so it runs on Sideren through a custom OpenAI-compatible provider.

One command

The setup helper writes Kilo Code’s Sideren provider for you (VS Code and the kilo CLI). See setup helper.

Configure

Kilo Code is configured in its VS Code GUI: Settings → Providers → Custom provider. In the dialog:
  • Provider API: OpenAI Compatible.
  • Base URL: https://api.sideren.io/v1.
  • API key: your sdn_ key.
  • Models: add @sdn/gpt-oss-120b and @sdn/glm-5 (manual entry is the guaranteed path; leave provider id lowercase).
Migrating from Roo Code? Roo Code was archived in May 2026 and its repo is read-only. If you still run an existing install, the same OpenAI Compatible recipe applies (Base URL https://api.sideren.io/v1, your sdn_ key, a catalog model id). New setups should use Cline or Kilo Code.

Verify

Give Kilo Code a trivial task and watch the first reply arrive on the Sideren model. To confirm the key works against the gateway without Kilo Code in the loop:
